OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) - Addiction recovery facilities say a key component of recovery is being able to visit with loved ones in person, and this is something that many rehab residents might not be able to do this Christmas.
Owensboro Regional Recovery has been in lockdown since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is going to be difficult,” Joshua Mcfelea, a peer mentor at Owensboro Regional Recovery said. “Luckily our clients have access to video chats with their families.”
