Whitehaven Rugby League Club has announced it is changing the name of its ground, thanks to a five-figure sponsorship deal.
Haven’s new principal sponsor has been named as Liftech Engineering, which has signed a three-season deal, and the Recreation Ground will now be known as The LEL Arena as part of the deal.
Whitehaven RLFC chairman Tom Todd said:Â âAs chairman of the club I am so pleased to announce today that the club has entered into a three-year sponsorship deal with LEL Limited.
“Lifttech Engineering work in the nuclear industry and we hope we can be beneficial to each other in the future.
