Lifespace Communities in West Des Moines announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with Omaha-based Immanuel Communities to transfer ownership and management of Lifespace’s campuses in Urbandale and in Lincoln, Neb., to Immanuel. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Lifespace’s Deerfield community in Urbandale and Grand Lodge at the Preserve in Lincoln will officially join the Immanuel family of retirement living communities in the third quarter of this year. The deal includes a combined 349 apartments with care levels ranging from independent living to assisted living, memory care, residential care, and skilled-nursing and long-term care. Immanuel owns and operates 16 retirement communities on nine campuses, among them the Shores at Pleasant Hill, and Immanuel Pathways operates three PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Eld
