The Green Forest Lady Tigers are primed to make a run in the Class 3A state tournament, and they should be well-rested for the occasion.
The Lady Tigers completed their regular-season schedule with a pair of victories last week, defeating the Springdale Har-Ber junior varsity 4-1 on Monday, April 26, before shutting out Life Way Christian Academy 7-0 on Friday.
Myndy Zamora scored a pair of goals in the win over the Har-Ber JV, while Kimberly Lopez and Emily Lozano each scored once.
Green Forest coach Ashley Wilson said the game against Life Way Christian was close for a little while.

Eureka Springs coach Ryan Sanchez is taking a realistic approach to a rebuilding season for the Lady Highlanders.
After losing five seniors from last seasons state tournament team, Sanchez hopes Eureka Springs can be a contender again next season, using this year as a building block for a team composed mostly of juniors.
Going into the year, that s what my focus was with this group being primarily juniors who haven t played a lot of varsity minutes, Sanchez said. So it s more of a senior season goal mindset, I guess you could say. Thats just the truth of the situation.
