Caerbryn AFC are raising money in honour of former club vice chairman Les Thomas who died last year MEMBERS of Caerbryn football club are raising funds to support the club as well as honouring a former chairman who died last year. Les Thomas, Life Vice Chairman at Caerbryn AFC, died just before Christmas last year, with the news sending shockwaves through the community. Phil Lewis, Caerbryn AFC Vice-Chairman, said: “It has been a tough year for the club financially and the news of Les passing away was a big shock to us all. “So, we decided to honour Les and complete a challenge where members will walk – or run – 870 miles, which is the equivalent of the Welsh coastal path.”
