Crew members at Gqeberha harbour test positive for Covid-19
Around 16 crew members from two vessels docked at the Gqeberha harbour has tested positive for Covid-19. They are currently in isolation.

According to the
Herald, the first vessel M/V Consolidator which arrived from Kenya docked at the harbour on April 25.
Health department spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo told the publication that the crew is currently in isolation.
“Four of the crew members were due to disembark to fly home and leave the country. They had to be subjected to PCR [polymerase chain reaction] testing before disembarking,” said Kupelo.
