a flight from uruguay to brazil forced to make an emergency landing after witnesses say a passenger attacked the pilot in the cockpit. it happened with a government official, a man with a fake i.d. badge broke in and assaulted the pilot and crew members trying to subway the man. at one point, witnesses say the plane dove to the right, sparking panic. well, i can imagine. we re told the attacker fought back biting and hurting a half dozen crew members. finally got him under control and tied his hands with plastic cuffs and police later arrested the man and took him to a mental hospital. an amazing rescue in kosovo after an avalanche destroyed a home and a multinational drill underway this thailand to make sure life saving missions run smoothly, as we go around the world in 80 seconds.
thank you. north in jacksonville, florida. fema said life saving missions were continuing there today. what kind of flooding are they still facing? reporter: you can see where we are in downtown jacksonville. we have been watching these waters. the past nine hours i have been out here they were all the way up the street rendering downtown jacksonville almost impassable and then we saw them recede and now we are seeing high tide coming back. as it is approaching these waves have come over and knocked down these barriers. you can see pieces of concrete. this is as hundreds of people are still without power. about 150,000 without power here. about five to six million without power across the state of florida. we have about 90,000 people still in shelters. there are over 500 shelters across the state. this is also as people are
