The armed forces is bringing in new rules today aimed at cracking down on sexual harrassment, which would see anyone found to have acted inappropriately immediately discharged.
A second Red Arrows pilot, Flight Lieutenant Will Cambridge (pictured) has been sacked and up to five members of the squadron disciplined after an official investigation into sexual misconduct and bullying.
The officer joined the elite Lincolnshire-based flying unit earlier this year. But after just six months, she filed a complaint to top military brass about behaviour that made her feel uncomfortable .
The training was given to the RAF s aerobatic team at RAF Scrampton and included the Red Arrows, days after 40 personnel gave 250 hours of
evidence in an enquiry into the toxic unit.
Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, who launched an investigation into accusations of inappropriate behaviour in December 2021, has said legitimate questions are being asked .
