Starting Eid, indoor services to open for vaccinated, recovered people in Bahrain | THE DAILY TRIBUNE

The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com  The National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus yesterday announced procedures for opening various sectors in the Kingdom starting the first day of Eid al-Fitr. The procedures were announced by Lieutenant-General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, as approved by the Coordinating Committee. Entry to indoor services will be for vaccinated and recovered citizens, residents and visitors who show proof of vaccination in the BeAware Bahrain app or other official application approved by the Gulf Cooperation Council nations. Visitors from other countries must prove that they have received the vaccination by presenting an acceptance card of certified vaccination, provided upon arrival to the Kingdom.

The Daily Tribune – www.newsofbahrain.com His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister has directed six more health centres across the Kingdom to operate 24 hours a day, bringing the overall number to nine.  The health centres include the North Muharraq Health Center and BBK Center in Muharraq Governorate, the Hamad Kanoo Health Center, Youssef Engineer Health Center and Jaw Askar Center in the Southern Governorate, Sitra Health Center and Jidhafs Health Center in the Capital Governorate, and Mohammed Jassim Kanoo Health Center and Shaikh Jaber Health Center in the Northern Governorate. The royal directives were aimed at strengthening the development and efficiency of the Kingdom’s health sector and the quality of healthcare services to all.

Vaccinated don t need tests for travel, says Bahrain MANAMA, 3 hours, 59 minutes ago Bahrain has announced that PCR tests will no longer be required for those arriving to the Kingdom who are vaccinated for Covid-19 or those who have recovered from the virus, starting from the first day of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.     Bahrain also announced the opening of cinemas and spas only for Covid-19 vaccinated people and those who have recovered from Covid-19 from the first day of the Eid al-Fitr.   Following the presentation of updated findings and data to the Government Executive Committee, the National Medical Taskforce for Combating the Coronavirus (Covid-19), announced these measures, said the report.
