The RAF Falcons have begun their UK training in Carterton, following previous deployments to California. The training prepares the parachutists for the award of their Public Display Authority. Flight Lieutenant Chris Wilce, officer commanding RAF Falcons, said: “The team has been progressing excellently with their UK based training programme. “We started by jumping onto larger drop zones within RAF Brize Norton and then, as some of you may have seen, onto smaller drop zones in the local area in both Carterton and Brize Norton village. “It’s been fantastic to see some of you at a distance and we really hope you’ve enjoyed viewing the parachuting skill shown by the team that we aim to develop further before the 2021 display season this summer.”
