This after some media outfits reported on the supposed illegal vaccination activity in the city.
In a memorandum issued on Tuesday, Domagoso told Manila Health Department Head Arnold Pangan, Bureau of Permits and Licenses Office Director Levi Facundo, and Manila Police District Director Leo Francisco that they have 48 hours to submit their findings on the incident.
Although several vaccines against COVID-19 are being developed and are starting to be rolled out in other countries, none have been approved for use in the Philippines yet.
“This unauthorized vaccination poses a great danger to the well-being and health of the people,” the Manila mayor’s memorandum read.
