Licence Check launches single sign on feature for Davis platform

Date: 04 February 2021   |   Author: Sean Keywood Licence Check has introduced a new feature designed to improve efficiency and security with its Davis fleet compliance management system. The single sign on (SSO) feature gives a company user access to multiple applications and services from a single user login, cutting the need for multiple usernames and passwords for different applications. Benefits are said to include simplified username and password management, minimisation of password fatigue, improved identity protection and two-factor authentication. According to Licence Check - part of the Ebbon Group - it means company administrators are able to manage users far more efficiently by permitting and preventing access to multiple applications in a single process.

Record MoDel growth despite pandemic

Click the thumbs up >Ebbon-Dacs is reporting a sharp increase in usage of its electronic vehicle delivery and collection solution, MoDel, despite the coronavirus pandemic. From January to end of November, there was a 65% rise in new vehicle deliveries through the MoDel-VM stand-alone version which is intended for vehicle deliveries which are not integrated with Ebbon-Dacs’ e-procurement platform, Leaselink. Now the most popular form of the MoDel solution, MoDel-VM accounted for more than 341,000 vehicle movements between logistics companies, dealers, leasing companies, brokers and end-users, both fleet and retail, in 11 months – a new record. This compares with 225,000 vehicle movements for the full 12 months of last year, which itself was a new record and an increase of 26% on the previous year.
