It was an opportunity for the Library Community to weigh in basically on what would be needed for the library of congress in the next few decades so my aim was put forward as a person to talk to and that went on for a little while and i was asked would you consider being considered for the position yourself . It took me aback a little bit and i then had to think about what i was currently doing, doing service in a city that had the Public Library be the state library in maryland.
