قال الفنان أحمد عز،في مُداخلة مع برنامج يحدث في مصر الذي يقدمه الإعلامي شريف عامر على شاشة MBC مصر، إن العرض الخاص لفيلم العارف كان جيد جدًا، مؤكدًا أن الأهم هو أن المجهود الذي بُذل في الفيلم يظهر للناس، قائلًا: أتمنى إن إحنا نكون عملنا حاجة برة الصندوق، ونتمنى إن صناعة السينما ترجع تاني زي قبل الكورونا، ويكون الفيلم ده والأفلام الموجودة تساعد في الموضوع ده .
وأضاف عز لبرنامج يحدث في مصر الذي يُقدمه الإعلامي شريف عامر، فكرة إننا نعمل فيلم ويبقى مستواه التقني أقل من الموجود في السينمات العالمية
