Tournament Reflections – Liberty s Previous Showing at the Seminole Intercollegiate: • The Flames made their inaugural appearance at the Seminole Intercollegiate during last spring s abbreviated schedule. • The Flames finished in third place, posting a score of 9-over par 873 (297-285-291). • Washington, the top-ranked team in the field at No. 17, walked away with the team title, posting a winning score of 9-under par 855 (289-288-278). • Last year s 14-team tournament field included three other ASUN Conference schools: North Florida (T7 +19 883), Jacksonville (9th +24 888) and North Alabama (13th +46 910). • The Flames were paced by Jonathan Yaun, who individually finished in second place with a 6-under par 210 (74-67-69).
Tournament Reflections – Liberty s Previous Showing at the Gator Invitational: • The Flames are no stranger to Florida s on-campus golf course, having participated in this event the last nine seasons. • Liberty s best showing at this event took place in 2019 where the Flames finished in third place with a 2-under par 842 (285-277-280). • Prior to the 2019 event, Liberty s best showing in seven previous trips to Gainesville, Fla., were sixth-place finishes in 2012, 2016 and 2018. • Ervin Chang paced the way for the Flames in 2019, finished tied for seventh place with a 2-over par 208 (73-63-72). • Last year, Liberty s fifth-place finish as a team was led by Jonathan Yaun, who individually finished in seventh place with a 2-under par 208 (70-71-67).
