The 30th Annual Walk for Animals is set to take over Liberty Station Saturday morning. Several animal shelters in San Diego County report being in a State of Emergency.
Parents lined up for groceries, checked racks for clothing, got free haircuts and received a free lunch. Families gathered in a grass area for games and music.
ABC 10News spoke to one participant who says the money will give the Humane Society opportunities for people to adopt a loving animal and bring them into a forever home.
