Campers Promised Color-ific Fun At Liberty Center Arts Academy If you have a budding artist in first through fifth grade the Liberty Center Association for the Arts and Cooney Creative Studio are holding their first Arts Academy this summer. Arts Academy Color Collab 21 promises to be a week of arts exploration, creativity, COLOR-IFC fun according to a flyer posted on the Liberty Center s Facebook page. The camp will celebrate the world of color as students attend five small sized classes in visual art, drama and dance every day.  Additionally, students of different ages will work together in larger group settings each day.

Sedalia Council Amends Food Truck Ordinance The Sedalia City Council on Monday night modified provisions regarding the licensure of mobile food vendors (food trucks) operating in the City of Sedalia. A three-day license will be offered to those who don t want to pay for an annual license. A three-day license will cost $25. In addition, the Council in the Public Works Committee: Amended an agreement with MC Power Companies, Inc., to limit a performance bond to construction only. The amendment was requested by the bonding company. Approved a contract with MC Power Companies, Inc., for $18,804.95 to repair a starter assembly for one of the wells supplying water to the City.

If you have a theater obsessed child or teenager, the Liberty Center Association for the Arts has an opportunity for your kids. The Liberty Center s Junior Theatre Program is presenting We Will Rock You Young @ Part directed by Lucy Lemke Clark, and musical direction by Michelle Gilger, and tech by Carl Hutcherson and Amber Reith Hutcherson.
