William Bill E. Gates joins the crowded 2022 governor s race as an independent.
Gates currently lives in Little Rock, where he has been a senior pastor for the church of Christian Jewish Freedom since 2010. Gates was born in Wichita, Kansas and raised in the Arkansas River Valley.
In his press release, Gates is positioning himself as a candidate for those who are unhappy with both the Democratic and Republican parties.
If elected to the governorship, Gates would focus on education, industrial growth, and environmental consciousness.
Gates believes the state needs to restore its trust in God and wants to make the state more inclusive.
