He said there is cents a very specific threat, targeting today, so police, again, have stepped up patrols in and around the school, while that investigation continues. The chief does say that several parents have called him, and that they are thinking about bringing their kids home from school today. Hes recommending them not to do that because of the show of force that theyre showing right now. This is a show of force, to show anybody who would have any type of propensity for any type of violent act, that the police are here, and we are here to protect the students that are going to school. Again, as soon as theyve identified those threats on social media, they started stepping up patrols, but this will be the most show of force, if theyre going to have at the school.
