Ballots are being counted today (Saturday, May 8) for the Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) elections.
Voters cast their ballots on Thursday to chose the next PCC for the region, with papers being counted at Bridlington Spa and results expected by this evening.
Labour s Keith Hunter is seeking to fend off challenges from Conservative Jonathan Evison and Liberal Democrat Bob Morgan.
The PCC election normally happens every four years, although this year s contest was originally scheduled to take place 12 months ago before it was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.
