Ten former pilots with the fraught-filled once regional airline LIAT have joined together to file a class-action suit against the government of Antigua and Barbuda. The constitutional motion was filed recently in the High Court in St John’s, Antigua, by Captain Neil Cave of Barbados.
This action was met by the harshest of references by Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne, who took to his radio station to brand the pilots as rotten elements,” and blame them for the demise of the airline.
