The bridge runs from China s coastal cities of Lianyungang and Rizhao to Rotterdam of the Netherlands and Belgium s Antwerp, passing through Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, Poland and Germany. It serves more than 30 countries and regions. Over the past 28 years, the land bridge has undergone various changes, including the trains running over the route and the commodities the trains transport. The land bridge has helped bring closer economic and trade cooperation between China and Europe.

The commodities, including face masks, elevators and construction materials, will be shipped to Asian and European destinations before the Spring Festival, which falls on Feb. 12 this year.
