The USC Trojans will go into the 2021 college football season with plenty of expectations with Kedon Slovis returning at quarterback.
But Slovis may not be the main draw at his position during Saturday s Spring Game since it will be the first time we see heralded freshmen Jaxson Dart and Miller Moss.
Since both players were highly touted recruits and quarterback is always under the spotlight at USC, the competition to replace Slovis in 2022 appears to be underway.
As for the 2021 starters, the players charged with protecting Slovis will be under a microscope, beginning with the returning players on the offensive line.

After a tough finish to 2020, USC is hoping it can make some noise this coming college football season. With spring practice kicking off just two weeks ago, a question the Trojans face this season is how the offensive line will hold up.
Star offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker declared for the NFL draft, making an already depleted offensive line desperate for more experience. They’ll look to lean on more experienced offensive lineman such as redshirt seniors Jalen McKenzie and Liam Jimmons to find some continuity at left tackle.

LOS ANGELES Its Pac-12 title fate was assured hours earlier in the Colorado snow, long before the team bus even rolled up outside the Rose Bowl. Even before the Trojans beat UCLA 43-38 on Saturday, USC had already clinched its place in the Pac-12 title game for the first time since 2017.
What wasn’t clear at the time of kickoff Saturday was whom the Trojans would play at the Coliseum next Friday. A complex mess of tiebreakers and COVID-19 chaos called into question which opponent would represent the Pac-12 North or whether the conference’s other division would be represented at all.
