Canaan Kawaihae feeling confident heading into LFA 105 against Jake Childers

Even prior to the novel coronavirus putting a halt to MMA for a big portion of 2020 for most fighters, for featherweight Canaan Kawaihae, it was just part of a larger layoff that he had been on since then end of 2018.
Luckily for Kawaihae, he was able to provide for his family because of his job outside of fighting and keep afloat until he was able to get back to fighting.
“It was a great rest being off for two years, but it was also a lot of hard work,” Kawaihae told MMAWeekly.com. “If I didn’t work construction financially I would have been trouble because of Covid and everything. That was a blessing.
Zac Pauga plans to win in exciting fashion at LFA 105

After picking up a unanimous decision win in his first pro bout in 2020, light-heavyweight Zac Pauga was looking to have an even better performance for his first fight of 2021 when he took on Ashby Thomas this past January at LFA 98.
Determined to kick off his year in a big way, Pauga was able to pick up a first round TKO of Thomas and build a winning streak for himself to start his pro career.
“I did what I really wanted to do and got the finish,” Pauga told MMAWeekly.com. “That’s the thing I was trying to grow from my pro debut, where I dominated my opponent with a decision, but I want to be known as a finisher, as an exciting fighter.
Tabatha Ricci looking to stay undefeated at LFA 105

Coming into 2021 with an undefeated record, strawweight Tabatha Ricci was looking to keep her winning ways going when she faced Vanessa Grimes at LFA 95 this past January.
For Ricci it didn’t take long to establish herself as someone to watch in her new promotion, submitting Grimes just 67 seconds into the first round of their bout.
“I just fought Vanessa Grimes at the end of January and it was a great fight for me,” Ricci told MMAWeekly.com. “It was a great experience. I think she was a great opponent. I’m very thankful for her to take the fight.
