MANSFIELD - Betty Smollen of Ontario participated in the 2021 Senior Spring Extravanganza Monday morning at the Richland County Fairgrounds, along with about 200 other senior citizens.
Smollen, 86, and friend Mary Ann Sautter, 87, stopped their vehicle and talked with Jessalynn Bryant of the Area Agency on Aging who handed out free Kettle Corn and a blue mega phone.
The two women arrived early and were glad they did as the line of vehicles meandered slowly throughout the property past the grandstand and barns before lunch was served.
