City Electric Supply Lexington branch recently hosted its first blood drive and company officials are now encouraging other companies to do the same.
CES Lexington Branch Manager Ben Davis and Operations Manager Zach Cooper, who are both regular blood donars, decided to host the blood drive after learning 30,000 blood drives have been canceled this year due to COVID-19. The American Red Cross is going through a challenging year as a result of the ongoing pandemic.
