Suspect identified in connection with Winburn shooting death

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) â Police have identified the suspect arrested Sunday in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Devante Bell.
Police said Monday that 37-year-old Carl Munford was arrested and charged with murder and wanton endangerment.
Police responded to the shooting on Winburn and Pennebaker at about 7 p.m. Sunday.
Bell was found at the scene with a gunshot wound, police said. He was taken to UK Medical Center where he later died.
The duty commander also says several people were arrested near the scene after fights broke out.
Lexington Police respond to early morning gas station robbery

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) â Lexington Police are searching for the person who allegedly robbed a gas station with a gun Wednesday morning.
It happened around 3:00 a.m. at the Speedway on Boston Road.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery. When they arrived, the clerk told them someone came into the store with a gun and demanded money.
The suspect, who is described as male, then ran out the door. Police say it s unclear whether he got into a vehicle.
Teen killed in Thursday morning shooting on Augusta Drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) â A Lexington teen was shot and killed Thursday morning in the Eastland Parkway area, the Fayette County coroner said.
The coroner said 18-year-old Montaye Mullins was found with a gunshot wound at about 3 a.m. Thursday on Augusta Drive.
He was taken to the University of Kentucky Medical Center where he died at 3:50 a.m.
Police do not have any suspect information at this time.

Road reopens following tractor-trailer crash involving animals in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) â North Broadway at New Circle Road is back open in Lexington following an accident involving a semi.
Lexington Police say a tractor-trailer tried going under the bridge around 1:00 a.m., but the truck was too tall and hit the bridge.
The driver was not hurt. Animal Care and Control responded to the scene because the truck was hauling chickens.
Some of the chickens died, and others got loose in the area.
The road reopened just after 4:30 a.m. Tuesday.
