An inmate who kissed a prison visitor to get cannabis, a dangerous driver and a man who tried to strangle the mother of his child for not making him a sandwich were among those put behind bars in North Wales in April.

A woman visitor gave a prisoner £6,000 worth of cannabis during a single kiss. Tanya Miller embraced and kissed Lewis Reece Spink at HMP Berwyn in Wrexham, but guards spotted the clinch and seized the drugs.
A judge at Mold Crown Court today jailed Spink, 30, for 12 months for conveying a List A article into a prison.
