Washington Twp. trustees hear results of cleanup

DEPARTMENT REPORTS:
PARK Port-a-Potty delivered. Used 20 tons of dirt for Field 3. Rentals have started, and park is busy. Got estimates for a new mowing tractor but current one is working fine and not looking to purchase one now.
ZONING Two permits sold. Worked on a land-split, new barn, called Health Department about two houses. Notices sent last meeting have not all been cleaned up.
FIRE DEPARTMENT 32 calls for April, four motor-vehicle accidents, one grass fire, one mutual aid, one lift assist, one open burn, one wellness check, one tree down, one smoke investigation, one fire investigation. As of May 3 meeting, 140 calls had been received for the year. Gave thanks to all who helped during township cleanup.
