Fake COVID Vaccine Shots On Sale In Two Countries Pfizer   Fake doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine were being sold in Mexico and Poland for as much as $2,500 a shot. AFP quoted the US drugmaker and an official to have confirmed this development.  A report in the Wall Street Journal said, at a clinic in Mexico some 80 people received bogus vaccines, which appeared to have been physically harmless though offered no protection against the potentially deadly disease ravaging the country. According to Mexico’s government spokesman on Covid-19 Hugo Lopez-Gatell, “no product was found that could affect” the health of those scammed.

by Tyler Durden Thursday, Apr 22, 2021 - 11:25 PM While scammers have been selling fake or forged COVID-19 vaccination cards, another scam has been discovered involving counterfeit versions of the vaccine.  WSJ reports fake versions of the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech have been found in Mexico and Poland.  In Mexico, a man who claimed to be a biotech expert injected upwards of 80 people with the fake vaccine - charging $1,000 per dose. WSJ said none of the people had been physically harmed by the injection.  Dr. Manuel de la O, the health secretary of Nuevo León state in Northeastern Mexico, said fake vials of the vaccine were found in what appeared to be beer coolers. The counterfeit vaccines had different lot numbers than those sent to the state and a wrong expiration date, the health secretary said.

Follow RT on Pfizer has reportedly identified for the first time counterfeit doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, with some selling for as much as $1,000. Thankfully no one appears to have been harmed by the scam jabs. The pharmaceutical giant confirmed through testing that doses of their vaccine seized in Mexico and Poland were fake, the Wall Street Journal reported.  In Mexico, vials found in beer coolers were initially flagged as suspect due to their fabricated lot numbers and expiration dates. Around 80 people paid as much as $1,000 for the shots, which reportedly contained distilled water. Six people were arrested in February in connection with the black market shots. Fortunately, the fake jabs haven’t been linked to any medical episodes.
