at least agreement on a need to raise the spending caps for military spending, but it does not appear from congressional statements that there is any kind of agreement yet on any kind of domestic spending. as we know and we ve been writing about, there s a lot of issues there that they aren t lined up on in terms of spending and immigration. democrats would like to see something done on immigration, specifically these immigrants who came here, the dreamers that came here when they were young. some of them would like to take that out of the equation. the president wants to take that out, some kind of spending on the border wall. those are things that are still percolating and those things did not all get resolved at this meeting today. chris: let s focus on what i think are the two most contentious issues. one is this issue have spending, republicans want to increase for the military, democrats want to say you have to increase it for domestic spending as well. and then daca.
