office, the more and more i start to think the american people were robbed of a fair debate during the presidential race where everything was based on emotion and it wasn t based on what the candidates would actually do. whether it s crime, whether it was what happened in afghanistan, whether it was what happened at the border. and now when it comes to the vaccines and what he has able to do. let s be very clear. he got the vaccines before he even got into office. all he had to do was make sure more people got them there. the one thing that we knew that needed to happen was more tests. weave find out that more and more scientists, as well as researchers said they have a plan to get that done. the biden administration just rejected it, kayleigh. that s exactly right. lawrence. i mean, look, the federal government, let s be clear, they don t produce tests, the private sector does. and what president trump did is he partnered with the private sector, made sure they knew, produced the te
know, i know, i know. we can handle it. cheryl said it s worse than it s ever been. we ve made so much strides and pride but let s be clear, the seeds of hate are flowering all throughout our system. i believe in young people. i believe in coalitions. if we come together, we ll work together and come together and work in positive fashion. pray for me, aunt gloria. i m praying for you. seriously, ralph, on the question of the republican party and what s happened to it, do you think it could go back to what it was pre-trump? it was far right and
and through trying to find something to do with that pain, i found the homeless. a friend of mine asked me if i would like to come out with him to feed the home meless one day with another nonprofit and i went out there and i fell in love with the community from day one. i was like y all aren t broken, you are just like me, let s go, you know? and so you are out there, and did you did the idea come to you then or how did you get the idea? because there are so many ways to help the homeless, but what made you think that this was something that needed and something that could help them? you know, let s be clear, this is what the community wanted from me. i went out there to do just what everybody does when they feed the homeless, give them their needs. they came to me with their wants. they said we love your hair, your lashes, makeup. and i was like i can get you some of this if you want. and it started organically. it was something that they wanted. and i think that the narrative
reporter: well, let s be clear, they re going out and trying to get tested, right, jim. if you look at what happened here, earlier this morning folks came out here, there was a long line of people out here. turns out that was the line for the wait list. there are 158 people on the wait list at this location alone. they re no longer taking new appointments. that gives you a sense of the need at this one location where we are. mayor de blasio says the city is going to open new test sites by the end of the week. in addition to that, what we re seeing in the state and the city are the numbers continuing to rise. if you look at what just happened in new york state, they broke another record for the fourth consecutive day of new infections, more than 23,000 new cases reported yesterday. most of those right here in new york city at 15,245 new infections. again, not seeing a spike in the number of hospitalizations.
better. and michelle, yesterday, the reaction to senator mansion, what senator mansion had to say was swift and it was harsh and you had progressives out there immediately saying we told y all this was going to happen. take a look. you had a.o.c. from new york tweeting out a hand full of us warned this would happen. the dem leaders warned us. many ridiculed our position and you can also see congresswoman ilhan omar says let s be clear, mansion s excuses bull puck, that s not what she wrote but that s what i m saying. it hard to say that they re wrong but where do we go from here? where do you think? well, yeah, they re absolutely right to feel betrayed. i still think that the politics being what they were in the
