Mission Beach leaders have filed a complaint with the Coastal Commission stating the city of San Diego has failed to enforce an ordinance to ban street vendors.
San Diego begins issuing permits for vendors. The cost of the permit is 38 dollars per year. The city council voted to approve the ordinance earlier this year, saying it was a public safety issue.
There are more complaints about street vendors, this time in Mission Beach. Some local leaders there want the city to start enforcing an old law against the vendors.
