In 2010 the president ial transition act passed. It provided that it was not just something they could do, it was a responsibility. Of candidates who are representing major parties to organize transitions. So, transitions generally start as early as april. Certainly by may, because there is just too much to do in organizing the National Government to do it in 75 days between the election and inauguration. It is a quite surprisingly sophisticated, can be, operation. Host what does it entail . Guest there are really four responsibilities. The first is to prepare to put a team on the field, if you will. Organize a white house staff, a cabinet to fill the most important senateconfirmed positions. They have to be cleared. Getting a running start is important.
