“Shore Drive Sucks.” That’s the wording on some signs that were recently posted in the Virginia Beach corridor. The signage is garnering quite a bit of attention.
Little Creek is, as the name implies, a creek. But it is much more than that. It also is two bodies of salt water filled with crabs, fish, boats and sailing craft that meander through parts of Norfolk and Virginia Beach. It's a road that links Norfolk's east and west sides. It's an amphibious base in Virginia Beach. It's an elementary school in Norfolk.
Another beached whale, which adds to the string of unusual deaths since 2017, was found on the shores of Virginia Beach. Officials say this is the third incident this week. Read more here.
