Murphysboro, Ill. (KFVS) - The Jackson County Health Department announced it was opening COVID-19 vaccination appointments for individuals in phase 1B.
Teachers are included in this group and according to the Jackson County Health Department, they can get the vaccine as early as January 19.
P.E. teacher Staci Hickam will be receiving it then.
“For me it was a clear choice,” Hickam said.
She believed it was a good choice so she can better protect herself and those around her.
