FARGO During his freshman year in high school, Joe Haeg was on the football “B” team in Brainerd, Minn. He was recruited as a walk-on to North Dakota State and received that offer only days before the 2011 signing day.
Haeg is now primed to play on football’s largest stage, an offensive lineman for the Tampa Buccaneers. Tampa Bay is set to play the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl on Sunday, Feb. 7, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
