Four months after a truck crashed into a Columbiana County house killing a woman and injuring her husband inside, the driver remains uncharged.
Jennifer Moreland s family members say they are still grieving and are waiting for word on the driver s fate.
The traffic crash report shows the 20-year-old driver was over the legal alcohol limit for driving and out later than Ohio s state-mandated COVID-19 curfew at the time of the crash. On behalf of the family, the only thing they need and want is justice for Jenn, said Jenna Marteney, a family spokesperson.
Moreland, 41 and husband, Josh, also 41, were inside their home at 2452 Knox School Road when a vehicle driven by Joseph M. Matz, of Homeworth, crashed into the couple’s residence around 2:30 a.m. Jan. 3, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol s report.
