Tynedale Transformed are holding an online event this Sunday (March 14) on the future of the NHS. A range of issues will be discussed, including fair pay for all NHS staff, sufficient funding, privatisation, social care, recruitment, and training. The group s latest Second Sunday event will start at 2pm in-conversation with Jude Letham, co-ordinator for Keep Our NHS Public North East, a group made up of members of the public along with doctors, nursed and other health professionals who argue against privatisation. There will then be a panel discussion at 4pm involving Jenny Firth Cozens, a professor of clinical psychology who is now a Governor of the Northumbria Trust.
