A team of architects and designers has revealed plans for a Viking-inspired circular viewing point in Iceland. It will be perched on a mountain slope at a height of 650 m and cantilever outwards to provide spectacular views of the surrounding area.

Copenhagen/Reykjavik-based Esja Architecture has unveiled plans for a ring-shaped viewing platform to be located 2100 feet above sea level on the slopes of Mount Bjólfur, Iceland. Named the Ring of Bjólfur, the platform will overlook the scenic, artistic town of Seydisfjordur, as well as a fjord.
