Two suspended Public Protector employees have accused the head of the Chapter 9 institution Busisiwe Mkhwebane
of taking unlawful action against them after she refused to implement the sanctions by the chairperson of their disciplinary hearings, and instead moved to invoke her own punishment.
Executive manager Pona Mogaladi and chief investigator Lesedi Sekele have approached the Labour Court on an urgent basis, seeking to prevent Mkhwebane from dismissing them with immediate effect.
