The last special emergency measures linked to the COVID-19 crisis were lifted Monday in the regions of Quebec where the situation had been unstable.
The regional county municipalities of Granit, in the Eastern Townships; Etchemins, de Beauce-Sartignan and Robert-Cliche in Chaudière-Appalaches; and Kamouraska, Témiscouata, Rivière-du-Loup and Les Basques in Bas-Saint-Laurent, are going back to red zone designation.

In these zones that were designated “dark red,” all non-essential businesses were closed, and curfew was imposed from 8 p.m till 5 a.m., as compared to the 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. curfew in place for the rest of the province.
