LaGrange County Jail LAGRANGE — Several people were booked into the LaGrange County Jail from Friday, April 23, through Thursday, April 29, according to jail records. Amy Bolen, 44, of the 1400 block of Spring Street, Fort Wayne, was arrested Friday by LaGrange town police on a temporary custody order. Bolen was picked up by authorities in Noble County. Jordan Gibbs, 24, of the 5600 block of East C.R. 415N, Kendallville, was arrested Friday by LaGrange County police on a charge of driving while suspended. Debbie Ackerman, 52, of the 200 block of South Mountain Street, was booked Friday to serve a sentence relating to an original charge of public intoxication.

Suspect arrested Friday after two-state police pursuit

Sturgis Journal A vehicle pursuit late Friday that originated in Elkhart County, Ind., ended in arrest in St. Joseph County. According to St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite, the pursuit started shortly before 8 p.m. in Elkhart County and moved north into St. Joseph County across the Michigan border. The pursuit was picked up by White Pigeon and Constantine police near Riverside Drive and Blue School Road. The vehicle was being driven at high-speed and was weaving all over the road and into oncoming traffic. Constantine police successfully deployed stop-sticks. Sheriff s deputies joined the pursuit on Lutz Road, near Mintdale Road. The pursuit continued north on Lutz before turning northeast on Centreville-Constantine Road. Deputies deployed additional stop-sticks at the intersection of Centreville-Constantine and Kuhlmeyer roads, but the driver again did not stop.

Long Friday night police chase ends in St Joseph County

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A police chase that began in Elkhart County, Indiana on Friday night came to an end in St. Joseph County. The St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department says the pursuit was picked up around 8:00 p.m. by both the White Pigeon and Constantine Police Departments in the area of Riverside Drive and Blue School Road. The suspect was said to be driving at a high rate of speed and was going into oncoming traffic. Sheriff Deputies joined the pursuit and deployed stop sticks at Centreville-Constantine Road and Kuhlmeyer Road. The suspect vehicle did not stop after hitting the stop sticks and continued going through the Village of Centreville.

2-state chase ends in St Joseph County cornfield

and last updated 2021-02-13 13:01:27-05 ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Mich. — A suspect was finally apprehended fleeing in a cornfield after a police pursuit through two states Friday night. It all began at 7:58 p.m. when the chase began in Elkhart County, Ind., and then crossed the state line into St. Joseph County. The White Pigeon Police Department and Constantine Police Department engaged the vehicle in the area of Riverside Drive and Blue School Road. First Constantine Police and then later St. Joseph County sheriff s deputies successfully deployed stop sticks, leaving the vehicle driving on two rims. The vehicle continued eastbound through Centreville and onto M-86 through Nottawa and later onto Lepley Road, where it nearly struck a police car head-on. At that time the fleeing vehicle left the roadway, entered a ditch and then a cornfield, where it came to a halt and the driver fled on foot.
