As students return to some California State University campuses for class Monday, many of their instructors are planning to go on a five-day strike over failed.
A similar strike was averted Friday when a deal was reached with Teamsters Local 2010, which represents skilled trade workers at 22 of the 23 CSU campuses.
Monday was supposed to be the first day of the spring semester at CSUMB. But now, professors are notifying students class might be cancelled for the whole week as faculty are striking to get a pay raise.
