Man taken into custody; missing Chesterfield mother and child found safe
An abduction suspect was apprehended and a missing Chesterfield woman and her 12-month-old son were found safe in Petersburg Sunday afternoon, according to police.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. An abduction suspect was apprehended and a missing Chesterfield woman and her 12-month-old son were found safe in Petersburg Sunday afternoon, according to police.
Officers were called to the 12500 block of Mount Blanco Court around 12:15 a.m. for a report of an abduction and shots fired, according to Chesterfield Police.
