He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jay Griffith and Golda Prater Griffith, sister, Eva Lois Griffith Rogers, In-laws: Laura Gentry Prater and George Edward Prater, Nora Gentry Fann and Ray Fann, Cecil Gentry and Judy McGuinn Gentry, Harold Gentry, Roberta McBride Gentry and Helon Marie Milligan Gentry
