Flanker Jac Morgan scored two first-half tries FLANKER Jac Morgan marked his return from a knee injury with a man-of-the-match display as Scarlets returned to winning ways with a six-try 41-17 triumph over Benetton at Parc y Scarlets. The 21-year-old from Brynamman, a former Amman United youth player, crossed for two tries in a dominant first-half performance, as Scarlets made a welcome return to winning ways. Scarlets had the try bonus point in the bag before half-time with half-backs Sam Costelow and Dane Blacker also crossing the whitewash, but Benetton did show some fight after the break. Late tries by Sione Kalamafoni and replacement Paul Asquith, however, completed the Italian Job, with this welcome Pro 14 win keeping European Champions Cup qualification hopes alive.
After weathering the storm, Munster made a rare foray into the Benetton 22 and after winning a penalty for another breakdown infringement, Healy took the three points on offer to extend the lead to four points.
Back came Benetton as second-rower Federico Ruzza broke from a ruck and flipped a pass to Callum Braley bearing down on the Munster line but the move was snuffed out as the Irish province got numbers back.
Benetton had a wonderful opportunity to take the lead for the first time 10 minutes from the end when a flipped pass found Tommaso Benvenuti in space on the left but a brilliant covering tackle from Haley prevented him from grounding the ball.

Stade Francais back-rower Charlie Rorke has been cited by Challenge Cup organisers for holding an opponents genital area on his debut for the Parisian outfit, European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) said on Tuesday.
The 21-year-old Australian was shown a red card after the incident in Friday s 44-20 loss to Treviso and will face a disciplinary hearing on Wednesday. Rorke was sent off by the referee, Ben Blain (Scotland), in the 44th minute of the match for grabbing the testicles of the Benetton Rugby wing, Leonardo Sarto (No 14), in contravention of Law 9.27, EPCR said.
