RCMP have arrested a third man in connection to the murder of Alberta Dean Wildcat.
On April 11, Maskwacis RCMP and emergency medical services were called to an Ermineskin residence where a man had reportedly been stabbed during a home invasion.

The 51-year-old Wildcat was treated at the scene and taken to hospital for further treatment. He remained in hospital until April 15 when he succumbed to his injuries and died.
An autopsy was conducted April 16 and on April 22 the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit charged Leon Clark Ermineskin (25) and Justin James Larocque (33) both of Ermineskin Cree Nation with Second Degree Murder
EDMONTON A third man has been charged with second-degree murder after a man was stabbed to death on Ermineskin Cree Nation in April. The 51-year-old victim, Ermineskin resident Albert Dean Wildcat, died in hospital on April 15, four days after the attack. Police originally charged Leon Clark Ermineskin and Justin James Larocque with multiple offences, including aggravated assault. They were being kept in custody until court.

Two people have been charged with second degree murder following a home invasion that resulted in the death of a one man in Ermineskin.
On April 11, at 6:19 a.m., Maskwacis RCMP responded to a call of a stabbing at a residence on Ermineskin Cree Nation.

Maskwacis RCMP attended along with emergency medical services, who treated a 51-year-old male that had suffered injuries at the residence and was taken to hospital for treatment.
