It’s no secret that small businesses are suffering during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it shouldn’t be a surprise that nonprofits are, too.
Hope Restorations, Inc. executive pastor Chris Jenkins pulled up to the Kinston Community Center Wednesday, Nov. 9, to collect kitchen items donated to Lenoir-Greene United Way by Electrolux to help his non-profit organization.
Electrolux’s corporate office recently contacted United Way to help a community where a local Electrolux plant is located with its Stocking Kitchens With Hope shopping event. The dishwasher manufacturer donated an 18-wheeler truckload of $150,000 worth of kitchenware amid the pandemic to nonprofits of Kinston.
