A jury convicted David James Paco Cruz on Monday for the rape of a girl known to him.
According to a release from the Office of the Attorney General, the jury convicted Cruz of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct as a first-degree felony and two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct as a second-degree felony.
He sexually assaulted a minor known to him on multiple occasions.
In 2019, multiple charges were filed against Cruz after a woman told authorities he had raped her multiple times since she was 12 years old, court documents state.
